Short Term Accomodation (respite)

Option Australia Care Services provides Respite Care services to help carers to take break from their caring responsibilities and to provide a meaningful change to participant. STA gives them opportunity to make new friends and meet new people, try new activities and step outside their comfort zone. OACS offer services that covers safety, security and hygiene at all the time. Our team is highly experienced and knowledgeable in this regard. We always look forward to creating an environment for you that is homely, respectful, caring, safe, private and provides with an overall positive experience for participants. Stay in high quality, contemporary accommodation. Our homes have assisted technology and modifications for full accessibility.

In OACS people have the opportunity for increased choice and control to produce their own future and their own tailored supports and services. ILO is a support model that enables you to choose the home you live in and your all-round support requirements. OACS works with you and your support network to consider the type of living options available and determine what will best suit your needs and preference. This flexible support package offers you true choice and control. OACS can assist you to explore and design an individual living option. OACS has a culturally diverse and talented team of support workers ready to provide any supplementary support needed to make your ILO plan work. Our skilled staff have the experience you may need to:

  • Understand the options that can be funded as ILO.
  • Decide what support you will need to live as independently as possible.
  • Negotiate with others to arrive at the ILO arrangement that will suit you.
  • Problem solve and remove the barrier to achieve the lifestyle you are seeking.

There are a variety of living arrangement specified by the NDIS: Living your own home: Co-Residency: support resides full time or part time in your home. Living Alone: support is provided in your home in a variety of ways. Living Together: you live with other people of your choice and receive support.
